Guidelines for booking our services...
Booking our services cannot be easier
- Mobile: 07990 738 730
- Email: george@sussexmanandvan.com
- Of course the easiest way of all is to use our online Request a Quote form with reference to the following guidelines. (Recommended).
Before requesting a realistic quote or to just make some further enquiries it would be useful to have the following required information to hand.
A list of ALL items you will be moving and an idea of additional bags, baggage and boxes are to be moved as well.
The addresses you are moving from and into including what floor level/s are involved at either end. Are flats involved? If so, do they have a lift service?
It is also worth remembering that if you are completing a house sale on the day you wish to move then this will invariably add to the time taken to move you.
We of course will help to load and unload the vans but we cannot supply or pack boxes and so on our arrival all packing should be completed and ready to be loaded onto the vans. Please DO NOT make boxes too heavy.
A good rule of thumb is: "If you can't lift them then neither can we."
The customer should disassemble any furniture unless arranged with us in another way.
When booking, any windows or doors to be removed for access should also be arranged.
Parking is Very Important
Customers should save parking spaces for vans, usually the size of one and a half cars, any parking fines and fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Are there any restrictions?
Will we be able to get to within 20 metres of your new home? Long carry distances slow down jobs.
Do you need any areas coned off by the council so that we can park closer to your property?
Will the route to your new home pose a problem for us?
If you have a driveway, can a heavy van (3.5 tonne) park on it?
Please remember overhanging trees cause problems to our Luton vans, which are at least 3m high.
Our preferred Payment Methods
- An online Bank Transfer.
- A cheque with a cheque guarantee Card.
- Cash on completion of your move.
